IVth to the XVIIIth dynasties.
Aa, the name of an Egyptian
deity, worshipped in the town of Aat, meaning "old men." Aa,
one of the demons who accuse the soul of the deceased in the Hall of the
two Truths. Aat is the feminine form but is
used only in place names. Aau
