AMENUAHSU.  An Egyptian naval commander, and chief of the royal fleet of an unnamed king of the XVIIIth dynasty.  Amenuahsu, an Egyptian priestly officer, called "the Receiver of the House of Life."  He was the son of Semut, and lived probably in the XIXth dynasty. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
