AMIDASSI.  Brother of Assurliha, king of Karalla.  On the death of Assurliha at the hands of Sargon II, the people raised his brother to the throne.  He continued the war of the revolted chiefs against the king of Assyria, but without any success, and his kingdom was ruined by Sargon and his army. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
