ANDER.  In Zendic mythology, the second of the wicked Darvands.  He was considered by them to be the same deity as the Indra of the Vedas, but of an opposite or evil character. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).  The other five Darvands are: Akomano, Saurva, Nasatya, Taric, and Zaric.  Indra = "masculine power."  Ander = "feminine power."
