BAGMASTI.  A famous Armenian goddess, the consort of the deity Haldi.  She was worshipped at Muzazin, in Ararat.  Her temple, together with that of Haldi, was plundered and burnt by Sargon II., king of Assyria, who carried her statue into captivity. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
