BABA.  Certain executioner deities of the Ritual of the Dead.  There were many such inhabiting the Egyptian hell; and they had generally the heads of various savage animals, and held swords in their hands.  They were the Βέβων of Plutarch and the Cabereii of the Greek mythologists.
