| BELLABARISRUK. A
noble Chaldean, who is supposed to have been chief of the Magi. He
headed a conspiracy, and temporarily usurped the throne of Babylon in the
reign of Nabukuduruzur. Bellabarisruk, the son and successor
of Nergal-sar-ussur,
king of Babylon. He was only an infant, but was, so it is asserted
by the Greek historians, put to death by the Chaldean lords on account of
his vicious propensities. He was the Laborosoarchod
