BOIANY (Бояни).  The same as Boian, meaning either "battle" or "lord."  It is the name of a village in western Ukraine, located close to Sadagura in the ancient region of Bukovina. (Wiki)   Note: I have not yet found a recorded instance of the actual usage of Boiany as a personal name.
