CHABRIAS.  The admiral of the Egyptian fleet under Nekhtarhebi.  He was unsuccessful in repulsing the invasion of the Persians under Artaxerxes II., but they were ultimately defeated and expelled at the battle of Mendes by Nekhtarhebi himself. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
