Zend Dara, meaning "king" or "wealthy."

Persia, three of whom are mentioned in the Old Testament bible and the
Apocrypha. The original form of the name, to which the Hebrew (Dareyavesh)
and Greek words are only approximations, has been read by Grotefend in
the cuneiform inscriptions of Persepolis, as Darheush or Darjeush
(Heeren's Ideen, ii. 350), and by Beer as Daryawush (Allg.
