KELLER,
GOTTFRIED (1819-1890), German poet and novelist, was born at Zurich on
the 19th of July 1819. His most important novel, Der grüne
Heinrich, is remarkable for its delicate autographic portraiture and
the beautiful episodes interwoven with the action. He died on the
