IOUSAAS.  Iou-s-aas, "The Great One who comes."  An obscure and mysterious Egyptian goddess.  She was the daughter of Ra, and was called the Queen of Heliopolis, a town in which she was worshipped.  She was represented as wearing the headdress either of Isis or Hathor, and is rarely mentioned in the Hieroglyphic texts. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
