Bilderdijk or Bilderdyk, (Katharina
Wilhelmina,) second wife of the eminent poet Willem Bilderdijk.
She was the author of the tragedies of "Elfrida" and "Iphigenia,"
and translated Southey's "Roderick." Died in 1830.
Cavalieri, (Katharina,)
an Austrian dramatic singer, born in Vienna in 1761. She achieved
a great reputation in her native city, but never appeared
elsewhere. Died June 30, 1801. (Universal Pronouncing
