KAMASHALTA.  King of Moab.  He was faithful to Assurbanipal, and conquered Ammuladi, king of Kedar, on his invasion of Palestine, in concert with Vaiteh I., king of Arabia.  He then sent the king of Kedar in chains to Nineveh. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
