LLACHEU.  Arthurian.  A son (and counsellor ) of king Arthur.  A variant of the original Welsh form Llachau (q.v.), meaning "gleams, lightning."  Also see Lohot, and Lohoot.

In the Dream of Rhonabwy, J. Loth's Mabinogion (2 vols., Paris, 1889), I, 312, "Llacheu," son of Arthur, is enumerated among the king's counsellors, and in a Triad he is called one of the three deivniawc of the isle of Prydein. (Romanic Review, v.3, 1912)

... The death of Llacheu is thus alluded to, in a curious Dialogue between Gwyn ab Nudd, and Gwyddno Garanhir.

I know where Llacheu the son of Arthur
Renowned in song was slain,
When the ravens rushed upon blood.
