Etymology of the name MAAD.
Meaning of the baby name MAAD.

MAAD.  The son of Adnan, king of the Hedjaz.  In his childhood, during the invasion of Arabia by Nebuchadnezzar, he remained hidden in the town of Haran in Yemen, but when he became a man he returned to his people, and marrying Maana, the daughter of Jorham, son of Djahla, re-established his kingdom.  He and his father must not be confounded with the Adnan and Maad, the progenitors of Mahomet.
