MAURSAR.  A king of the Khitae, or Hittites.  He was the son of Sapalala, and the father of Khitasira, both of whom were defeated by, and made treaties of peace with, the Egyptians.  No particulars are known of his reign. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
