MITA.  The king of Muska, a kingdom on the Black Sea.  He several times revolted against the Assyrians, and slew the king of Que, adding his provinces to his own; but he was at last defeated by the new governor, whom Sargon II. sent to control the state of Que, and his kingdom was then added to Assyria.
