NIN-KI-GAL.  Ninkigal.  "Lady of the Great Earth."  The queen of Hades, the sister of Ishtar, and the wife of Hea in his character as deity of the earth.  She was supposed to have been both a sister and also another form of the goddess Davcina, and she was possibly also the goddess Mot, which see.
