NITETIS.  An Egyptian princess, the daughter-in-law of Uahprahet, of the Saite dynasty.  Aahmes II., king of Egypt, sent her in the place of his own daughter, as a wife to Cambyses, king of Persia, a fraud which led to the Persian conquest of Egypt. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
