OLENA (Ώλενα).  In Greek mythology, the name given to the goat Amalthea, who nursed Jupiter, because she resided at Olenus, a town of Peloponnesus.  Apollod. l. 1; Senec. in Med.; Plin. l. 4. (Universal Historical Dictionary, Crabb, v.2, 1833).

OLENA (Олена).  Ukrainian.  Said to be a form of Greek Helene (q.v.), meaning "light."
    Olena Ivanivna Teliha (d. 1942), was a Ukrainian poet.  Olena Krasovska, a Ukrainian hurdler. (Wiki)
