PSAR.  The "Scribe of the Palace" of Rameses II. of the XIXth dynasty.  Psar, the "Chief of the Country" and priest of the temple of Neith in the XIXth or XXth dynasty.  His mother was a priestess of Amen Ra named Ra-mai, and his father Neb-neteru was a Sam of the temple of Pthah. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
