SAH.  "Mummy."  In Egyptian mythology one of the five component principles of the human body.  See Akh, Ba, Kha, and Khaba.  Sah, the sixth division of Upper Egypt.  It was rendered famous by the wise government of the general Ameni during the XIIth dynasty.  It was called by the Greeks Hermopolis the Lower.  Sacred to the worship of the deity Horus. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
