of Sebek." Sebek-hotep I., a king of Egypt of the XIIIth
dynasty, of whom nothing is as yet known.
Sebek-hotep II., another king of the XIIIth
dynasty, who is also unrecorded in history.
Sebek-hotep III., a king of the XIIIth dynasty,
of whom also nothing is known.
Sebek-hotep IV., a king of the XIIIth
dynasty. He succeeded Sebekhotep III. He recorded the annual
risings of the Nile at Samneh, from the first to the fourth year of his
reign. His successor was Sebekhotep V., who was also called Sebekem.
Sebek-hotep V., a king of the XIIIth
dynasty. He succeeded Sebekhotep IV., and was succeeded by Sebekem.
This dynasty consisted of kings who seem to have been named Sebek-hotep
and Mentu-hotep alternately.
