SIBI.  A Babylonian deity.  The god Sibi is mentioned in the Dibbarra Epic (q.v.).  He is described as "a warrior without rival."  Since Sibi means "seven," it has been suggested that the god is a personification of the seven evil spirits. (An Encyclopedia of Religions, Canney, 1921)
