SAVA (סַבָּא).  Unisex.  Aramaic.  The same as Saba (q.v.), meaning "the aged man."  Also spelled Sabah.

SAVA (سبأ).  m.  Another spelling of Arabic Saba (q.v.), meaning "wine imbiber." 

SAVA (Сава).  m.  A Serbian form of Greek Sabas (q.v.), meaning "the aged man."

    Saint Sava, the first Serbian Archbishop, was known as the Illuminator and Wonder-maker.  He was the son of the great prince Stephen Nemanya, the Autocrat of Diocletia, Dalmatia, Travonia, Bosnia, Slavonia and Rascia. (Lives of the Serbian Saints, Janic, 1921)
