4th, 5th, 6th eds. of Encyclopaedia Britannica, v.4, 1824).
m. Sent, an Egyptian gentleman, who was
the father of Hor,
which see. Sent, or Sethenes,
the fifth king of the IInd or Thinite dynasty of Egypt. He
introduced the doctrine of the personal adoration of the king, and reigned
forty-one years.
f. Sent, an Egyptian lady, the sister of
Antef and Ameni, and the daughter of Antefaker, all private
personages. She lived probably in the XIIth dynasty.
