TUAA.  A Japhetic chieftainess, the wife of Iuaa, and the mother of Taia, queen consort of Amenhotep III. in the XVIIIth dynasty.  Tuaa, an early Egyptian city in the Oxyrhynchite nome, where the goddess Apitus (?) was worshipped.  Tuaa, a wife of Rameses I. of the XVIIIth dynasty.  She was the mother of Rameses II. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
