| TEOS.
The second king of Egypt in the XXXth dynasty, and the son and successor
of Nekhtarhebi. He held the throne for two years chiefly by the help
of Agesilaos, the Greek. He much oppressed the Egyptians by his
taxations, and they calling in Nekhtenebef, the last of the native
princes, drove him from the throne after a short reign of two years.
He was the Geos
of the Greeks. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
