TSESHORTSA.  Or, Serbes (q.v.).  The second king of IIIrd dynasty of Egypt.  He was the author of many medical books, and practiced cutting for the stone.  At a later period he was deified under the name of the god Aiemapt or Imouthes, or Imhotep, the son of Pthah.  He was the Tosorthros of the Greeks. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
