VUL-BEL-UKIN.  The governor in the reign of Assurnirari II. and Tiglath Pileser II.  He was eponym of the year B.C. 738, the chief event in which was the capture of the city of Kullani (Calno), and 748, in which took place an expedition to Zimri.  Vul-bel-ukin, another and more correct rendering of the Assyrian name Vul-bel-uzur. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
