ZAB-VUL.  A chief of the district of Dagara in the South-east of Assyria.  He revolted with some success against Assurnazirpal, king of Assyria, who ultimately defeated his army and annexed his kingdom after some years resistance.  The fate of Zabvul is not known. (An Archaic Dictionary, Cooper, 1876).
