Etymology of the
Meaning of the baby name ZAMAMA.
A Babylonian deity belonging to the second Babylonian period.
He is called a "god of battle," and his temple the "house
of the warrior's glory." He was worshipped in the city of Kish
in northern Babylonia. His consort is called simply Ninni, "the
lady." Zamama seems to have had the character of a sun-god. (An
